Starting something seems to be one of the easiest things to do. We all have ideas. Everyone has ideas. The difference is – do you wake up or do you stay asleep? Ideas are like dreams that way. As long as we continue dreaming, everything looks perfect, just the way we see it. Poof! As quick as you can dream it, you forge that image in your mind and it’s evergreen, right? Well, here in the real world, people tend to favor those who think less and do more. Enter my dilemma – the over-thinker.
Since starting this podcast, my dream has been tested 100’s of times. Going back and forth between what I see in my mind’s eye and what I see on paper, on a whiteboard and what I see on my computer screen. Each week I am contacting potential guests for the podcast. I wish it were the other way around where people were coming to me, but that will come in time. Each week it seems to come down to the weekend where my sound guy and I are rushing to get the next episode published. I put so much pressure on myself each week, to get the next episode out. I think I need to chill out a little.

You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth.
William W. Purkey
There’s something really powerful though, when you start something bigger than you. It puts you to the test. It is a major way for you to see if you have what it takes to persevere and push through the hard times. After all, if it was easy – everyone would do it!
